In the mythology of ancient Hawaii, Kanaloa is the god of the ocean, a healer god, and the companion of Kane, the god of creation.
The root translation of the word ka-na-loa means the great peace/stillness or even the person who has the great peace/stillness.
Kanaloa represents the Core Self, or the centre of the universe within oneself. It stands for the ideal human being: fully aware, fully loving, fully confident, calm and unconquerable.

In December 2006 I had a vision to paint my first angel ever. I called this angel Kanaloa, as he symbolises an infinitely loving, confident, calm and unconquerable being.
Angels, Guardian Angels and Archangels are divine beings of pure infinite love that we can call upon to help us with anything and everything. We can ask them to assist us with healing or guidance, or with a specific problem we may be dealing with at the moment.
My “Kanaloa angels” are angels of colour and energy that can be used for meditation, motivation and healing.

The inspiration for my angels came from the core of my soul, and they were painted through me, not by me.

Here are some suggestions on how the Kanaloa Angel cards can be used:

• Place the angel card you have chosen to assist you with your personal problem in a place in your home where you see it many times a day. Every time you see the card focus on feeling better about your issue, exhale and say, “Thank you, angels, for healing my … I am so happy and grateful you are helping me.”
• Place your favourite card in your bag and carry it with you wherever you go. Ask the angels to help you with your problem and thank them in advance. By carrying the card in your bag or pocket, its energy will be in your aura (energy field) and assist the energy flow.
• Place the angel card on the part of your body you would like to heal. Close your eyes and visualise the angel in the picture heal you. Talk to the angel if you feel you would like to ask a question. Breathe in and out . Visualise the colour of the angel or white light around you. Carry on for at least ten minutes and at the end say “Thank you, angels”. Repeat every day, if possible three times a day.
• Place the angel card under your pillow to help you with getting an answer to your problem in your sleep. Ask the angels for guidance and thank them in advance for their help.
