For as long as I can remember I have loved trees. I always felt that they were communicating with me and I certainly was speaking to them. My parents would take my brother and me on long walks in nature at weekends when we were children – we would pick blueberries, play with maple keys and chestnuts, roll down hills, watch ants and bugs, collect sticks, etc.
I was 25 years old when I first met a lady who actually sees fairies, gnomes, elves and other elementals with her own eyes. I was fascinated and inspired to find out more about those wonderful beings.
In 2009 I re-connected with the fairy kingdom on a deep level. I went on long walks in nature, to fields, forests, lakes, parks where I knew I would find beautiful scenery and I could hear the birds singing. I also found out about the Celts and how they connected with nature and valued trees in many ways.
